Role: Account Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Location: This role will cover The Netherlands and Germany (Cologne & Berlin) - You can be based in either country as long as you can travel between the two.
The Company Overview:
A global market leader in the Life Science space is looking for an Account Manager to join the commercial team. This person will focus on the Biopharma market and the ideal expert will be working to build relationships, be target driven to push sales and be responsible for driving results.
Responsibilities:
- Expand and build relationships with new business and marketing strategies.
- Identify market trends and business sales strategies to be able to enter the market.
- Take ownership of the sales process with strategic planning.
- Ensuring to retain important key relationships with the important clients for organisation.
- Budget coordination.
- Update the customer database (CRM).
- Negotiate and conclude sales contracts (reagents, lab equipment, services)
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Life Sciences degree or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in sales or a commercial role
- Life Sciences experience in a sales/ commercial role
- Willingness to travel (40 - 50% of the time)
- Languages: Dutch, English, German
- Result focused (sales targets) and a solution-oriented mindset
