A leading biotech company focused on developing novel therapeutic products is looking for a talented Analytical Scientist with a strong background in cell and gene therapies to join their team. This individual will help develop and execute LC/MS-based methods for characterizing RNA delivery systems as an individual contributor.
Responsibilities
- Optimize and develop LC/MS methods for analyzing mRNA, proteins, and lipids
- Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining modern analytical and preparative instrumentation
- Perform both routine analysis and method development validation (HPLC), (GC)
- Develop and perform cellular and molecular assay techniques (qPCR, dPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry)
- Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of novel analytical methods
- Prepare, evaluate, and present data internally
Qualifications
- B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent with 3+ years of industry experience
- Familiarity with diverse analytical techniques such as Western Blot, ELISA, qPCR
- Hands on method development and troubleshooting experience with HPLC/UPLC
- Prior experience working with cell and gene therapies (AAV, mRNA, LNPs)
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and communication skills
