Position Overview: A top client is seeking a highly skilled Art Director to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in art direction within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. The Art Director will be responsible for leading the creative vision and execution of client campaigns, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and effectively communicate the desired message.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of creative concepts for pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and multimedia assets.
- Collaborate closely with account managers, copywriters, medical experts, and clients to develop and refine creative strategies.
- Ensure all creative work complies with industry regulations and guidelines, including FDA and other relevant bodies.
- Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing direction, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee the entire creative process, from initial concept through to final production, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the agency's creative output.
- Present creative concepts and campaign ideas to clients, effectively communicating the strategic and creative rationale behind the work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in art direction, with a focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including print, digital, and multimedia.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelines.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
