A leading medical communications agency specialized in the medical affairs and promotional medical education space is looking on bring on an Associate Scientific Director to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting medical communication deliverables, communicating closely with clients, and mentoring junior writers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development: Lead content development for various promotional med ed and medical affairs accounts. The deliverables include slide decks, advisory boards, MSL decks, congress materials and more.
- KOL Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to ensure access to the latest scientific insights and expert input for projects.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to medical writers and junior team members to ensure collaboration and professional development.
- Client Communication: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, provide scientific expertise, and deliver exceptional service that meets or exceeds their expectations.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. required
- 3+ years of experience in medical affairs and promotional medical education at a medical communications agency.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work across various therapeutic areas.
- Must have full work authorization in the United States.
