A cutting-edge Biotech is seeking a results-driven Manager of Business Development to drive revenue growth in the West territory. This role requires a hunter mentality, strong closing skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships to achieve organic growth.
- Create and implement account strategies for growth and margin improvement.
- Meet annual sales targets and understand company systems and pricing strategies.
- Identify and close large business opportunities, enhancing customer partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and manage a robust sales funnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field; laboratory experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of sales experience in relevant categories.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and strong negotiation skills.
- Technical proficiency to present and demonstrate products.
- Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
