Position: Research Scientist - Data & Experimental Sciences
Type: Limited Term (2-year position with full benefits)
Location: New York City
Salary: Annual base salary of $200,000-$240,000
What You'll Do
- Data Mastery: Curate, process, and analyze complex scientific datasets, primarily focused on chemical and biological data. Your insights will directly influence the company's data strategy.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with a high-performing machine learning team to integrate data science with experimental research, driving forward novel approaches in drug discovery.
- Scientific Experimentation: Utilize your hands-on laboratory expertise to design, execute, and refine assays and techniques that push the boundaries of medicinal chemistry and pharmacology.
- Technical Leadership: Leverage your strong proficiency in Linux environments and Python to optimize data workflows and contribute to robust, scalable computational models.
What We're Looking For
- Educational Background: A Ph.D. or Master's degree in medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, or a related scientific field.
- Laboratory Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, with practical familiarity in conducting assays and relevant drug discovery techniques.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux and Python is highly desirable, empowering you to merge experimental science with advanced data analysis.
