Director Clinical Operations
Salary: ($220,000-$245,000)
San Francisco, CA (on-site 3-5 days per week)
Situated in San Francisco, this innovative biotech firm, specializing in oncology, stands out for its emphasis on radiopharmaceuticals. In a collaborative environment, this biotech leverages cutting-edge technologies to tailor treatments, striving for individualized solutions in cancer care. This Director Clinical Operations will offer specialized knowledge and supervision for various clinical trials or a clinical initiative to guarantee adherence to protocols, SOPs, GCP, and organizational objectives. Working closely with the VP of Clin Ops, you will have the opportunity to directly learn from experienced leaders in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert oversight for multiple oncology clinical trials, ensuring they align with established protocols, SOP's, GCP, and corporate objectives.
- Offer strong leadership and direction to the Clinical Operations teams, guiding their management of CROs and other external vendors involved in the trials.
- Engage in strategic planning for clinical programs, working towards the successful execution of trials and the achievement of both departmental and corporate goals in the field of oncology.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Clinical Operations teams, exploring and implementing innovative approaches to enhance the quality and effectiveness of oncology research processes.
Key Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of experience working on oncologic clinical trials, 7+ years on the sponsor side
- Extensive experience overseeing early and late phase oncology trials.
- Proven track record of ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, SOP's, and GCP in the execution of oncology clinical trials.
- 2+ years in radiopharmaceuticals minimum
