The team is seeking a Cand Scient / Polyt or PhD in protein engineering, biochemistry, or a related field, with specific experience in the product development of therapeutic lead candidate proteins within biotechnology drug discovery and development, to join our CMC development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CROs supporting engineering and testing setup for lead candidate selection.
- Collaborate closely between R&D and CMC development to ensure lead candidates are designed and expressed with the desired product attributes, ensuring mode of action, safety, and robust manufacturability.
- Maintain existing IPs and contribute to new IPs.
Key Qualifications
- Cand Scient. / Polyt or PhD in protein engineering, biochemistry, or a related field.
Proven experience with:
- Protein engineering, design, and modeling.
- Monoclonal antibodies.
- Protein characterization and comparison studies.
- Therapeutic protein drug discovery and development.
- IP submission and maintenance.
- Working with external partners (CDMOs) and cross-functional collaborations.
Skills:
- Protein chemistry.
- Protein engineering.
- Analytical science.
- Radiopharmaceutical/radioimmuotherapy experience is strongly desired
- IP knowledge.
- Mastery of cross-functional collaboration
