Title: Vice President of Investor Relations - Biotech
Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader for the crucial position of VP of Investor Relations. As a VP of Investor Relations, you will work closely with company leadership to set IR strategy, handle inquiries, and strategically position the company with shareholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with c-suite to create robust investor relations strategies, acting as a liaison between investors, analysts, and company executives
- Communicate financial performance, operational activities, and company vision, developing investor confidence
- Manage inquiries from shareholders, analysts, and investors regarding investment-related matters
- Conduct market analysis and present data on market trends, competitors, and shareholders
- Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, policies, and regulations
Skills Required:
- 20+ years of experience, including working in-house investor relations
- Demonstrated knowledge of the life sciences industry
- Buy-side or sell-side experience preferred
- Strong presentation skills and understanding of financial modeling & valuation
- A bachelors degree required; a MBA or post graduate degree is an asset
