Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Market Access to join our client's team. The successful candidate will lead our market access strategy, ensuring our laboratory testing products achieve optimal market penetration and reimbursement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and a proven track record in market access for LDT products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies for our products to maximize access and reimbursement.
- Lead negotiations with payers, including private insurers and government programs, to secure favorable reimbursement terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams, to align market access strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze healthcare policy changes and their impact on market access and reimbursement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, healthcare providers, and industry associations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the market access team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events to promote our market access initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management on market access performance and strategy.
- Oversee the development of value dossiers and health economic models to support reimbursement and market access efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in market access activities.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in market access, within the diagnostic product landscape.
- In-depth knowledge of the US healthcare system, including reimbursement processes and payer landscape.
- Proven track record of successful market access strategy development and implementation.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, life sciences) preferred.
