Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of marketing strategies to promote the company's product lines, services, and solutions to a wide range of stakeholders, including research institutions, healthcare providers, and industry professionals.
- Brand Awareness: Drive brand awareness and positioning in the Japanese market through targeted marketing campaigns, digital channels, and industry events.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor landscape in Japan, providing actionable insights for the business.
- Product Launches: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute successful product launches that resonate with local customers and maximize market adoption.
- Digital Marketing: Leverage online marketing channels, including social media, SEO, email, and content marketing, to drive leads and business opportunities.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with sales, product, and R&D teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and ensure a cohesive, integrated approach.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in the biotechnology, or life sciences industry. Experience in a B2B environment is a plus.
- Product: Expertise in NGS, sequencing products is a must
- Cultural Fluency: Deep understanding of the Japanese market, including language fluency (Japanese required) and cultural nuances that drive business success.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage marketing teams, collaborate across departments, and drive projects to successful execution.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing plans.
- Digital Savvy: Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
