Role Overview
As the Sales Manager for Taiwan, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, leading a team of sales professionals, and managing key customer relationships to maximize the adoption and growth of the company's ophthalmic and vision care products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales objectives with market needs and will have a direct impact on the company's continued success in Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement the sales strategy for Taiwan, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market conditions.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the ophthalmic and vision care sectors, building strong relationships with ophthalmologists, clinics, hospitals, and distributors.
- Expand the company's customer base and drive market share by promoting the company's portfolio of products, including surgical devices, diagnostic tools, and vision correction solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide technical and clinical support to customers, ensuring successful product adoption and use.
- Market Insights & Strategy:
- Analyze local market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to shape the company's product offerings and marketing strategies in Taiwan.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor promotional materials and campaigns specific to the Taiwan market.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the clinical, product management, and marketing teams to ensure the successful launch of new products and to provide feedback on product performance.
- Liaise with the training and education team to ensure that customers are well-informed about product usage and benefits.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on ophthalmic products or vision care solutions.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, team management, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong background in B2B sales, preferably within the healthcare or medical device sectors.
- Skills:
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with a track record of building strong customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of ophthalmic devices, diagnostic tools, and vision care products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage key stakeholders and convey technical product information effectively.
- Language Requirements:
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required, both spoken and written.
- Education:
