Senior Director of Data Management and Reporting
Cambridge, MA (hybrid)
I am partnered with a large pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced commercial data management professional to serve as the Data Steward and to develop and lead data strategy and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the Data Strategy and Management team to develop data strategy and governance in alignment with sales, marketing, and payer priorities
- Partner with multiple business units to ensure that high data quality is present across all systems and that best practice is followed
- Owns the data accuracy, quality, and governance across multiple business units
- Supports reporting, analytics, and the user community
- Develops and implements a data roadmap to profile, prioritize, and support different business units
- Leads collaborative efforts to ensure the successful deployments of data assets
- Communicate finding through data visualizations to executives
Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry within the data, reporting, and analytics function
- 10 years of experience managing a Data Management team
- 6 years of experience in SQL, Relational databases and Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Power B.I., etc.
- Well versed in working with specialty brand, patient support services, and specialty pharmacy data
- Experienced in vendor management and overseeing an external data warehouse partner
- Experienced in working with Iqvia, Symphony, Komodo, Veeva, and MMIT data
- Leadership experience with direct reports
- AWS and Snowflake or other cloud-based data solutions and Master Data Management (MDM) experience
