Sr. Director of Commercial Operations & Strategy Execution
Cambridge, MA (Hybrid) - Must be able to be on-site 3 days a week
I am partnering with a large biotech company to find an operational leader who can align the team with its strategic goals and business priorities. This individual will be a key member of the Business Intelligence & Operations leadership team, reporting directly to the SVP of Business Intelligence & Operations. The role is responsible for driving the execution of strategic initiatives, improving communication, and promoting operational excellence across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously evaluate business processes and optimize operational design to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Drive process improvement by optimizing and managing resources, identifying opportunities for vendor optimization, and/or transitioning services internally.
- Develop and implement a coordinated, integrated plan for cross-functional initiatives or integration activities.
- Create the strategy and roadmap for modernizing and innovating all departmental functions (Patient Services, Commercial Analytics, Commercial Operations).
- Develop a department scorecard with key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure impact.
- Collaborate closely with Finance to track and manage the budget.
- Communicate memos and present strategic priorities to the C-Suite, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in strategy and operations consulting and/or leading large, complex programs and initiatives in Pharma or Biotech.
- Experience in commercial operations, insights & analytics, and patient services functional domains.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed environment.
- Strong skills in data analysis and budget management.
