Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Quality to lead and oversee all aspects of quality management within our biotech organization. As the VP of Quality, you will drive a culture of quality excellence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards in our products and processes.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and vision for the quality management function, aligning with the company's mission, goals, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy that encompasses quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement initiatives.
Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory affairs teams to ensure quality is embedded in all stages of product development and commercialization.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
Champion a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and engagement at all levels of the company.
Oversee the management of quality-related issues, deviations, and investigations, implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management within the biotech or medical device industry.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, including remote and cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining quality systems in a regulated environment.
